The National Grape Cooperative

Cultivating and harvesting the world's finest juice grapes

National Grape Cooperative is a grower-owned agricultural cooperative, with more than 1,200 members dedicated to the cultivation, care, and harvesting of the world's finest juice. Our growers are located in the United States (Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Washington) and Ontario, Canada.

Welch's and National Grape have a unique operating relationship that reflects our focus on evolving consumer preferences and our commitment to product quality. The grower-owners of National Grape supply outstanding Concord and Niagara grapes to Welch's,
its wholly owned subsidiary. Welch's role is to convert those high quality grapes into juice and food products that satisfy the tastes of consumers around the world.

This unique relationship with our grower-owners also provides an unusual degree of control - control over crop and supply availability, and product quality control throughout the process from vineyard to grocery shelf.

The investment of our grower-owners make in adhering to stringent quality standards for growing and harvesting, viticultural research, and aggressively funding new product development has produced a long history of industry leadership and growth.
