Country Managers
Working with partners to effectively
reach local audiences
Welch's International marketing professionals work closely with regional
partners to find the most effective way to reach local audiences, wherever
they are - to provide Welch's products to consumers of all
ages and demographics.

Our Regional Business Managers combine business experience
with a deep working knowledge of the markets they serve. They regularly:
- Conduct store audits in markets from Mexico to the Philippines
- Organize product demos from Taiwan to Costa Rica
- Supervise consumer focus groups with local research agencies
- Analyze syndicated research and then fine tune local
strategy with regional partners
- Create, develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans
- Share their expertise and understanding of the category
and the products with local partners
- Facilitate exchange between valuable Welch's resources,
such as Research and Development (R&D) and Manufacturing Managers, with local partners
- Analyze packaging, pricing, promotion
and distribution in order to assure that a product is competitive
- Create an effective regional brand strategy with an ad
agency in the local market
- Work
closely and cooperatively with local partners in developing and
reviewing Welch's brand business plans and strategies including new
product development, sales, distribution, marketing,
advertising, public relations, and
promotion
International marketing means more than just knowing
the language of a new market. It requires a complex and comprehensive understanding of
consumer trends, industry brands and local preferences. The willingness to
listen and learn consumer preferences consistently results in successful placement of Welch's products in premium shelf space.
